Let’s see, for starters there’s low-fat, high-fat, low-carb, low calorie, high protein, vegetarianism (a few different versions in itself) paleo, keto, etc., etc… Sound familiar? Our personal fave is the cabbage soup diet. If only there was enough cabbage to feed 70% of over-weight America.
There’s a reason why some find success with a keto or Atkins-type diet (higher fat and protein) and others fail. There’s a reason why some find success on the opposite end of the diet spectrum with a Pritikin-type or vegetarian (higher carb) diet, but others fail.
The truth is, when it comes to diet, one size does not fit all.

The Native American Eskimo is extremely healthy eating 90% of his diet from fat and protein (including a lot of whale blubber…yummy). The South American Indian does well eating primarily fruits, vegetables and grains – mostly carbohydrates. We use various processes such as Metabolic Typing® to determine your individualized nutrition program (and we won’t forget…the best diet is the one you’ll actually do!).
