OUR APPROACH

Health is About More than Exercise

At Clairevista, we specialize in helping adults 40+ build the strength, health, and vitality to keep doing the things they love.  Located in Oak Cliff and serving West Dallas and the Greater Dallas area since 2010, we take an approach that looks beyond workouts alone to the many things that influence how you look, feel, function, and age.

Our approach is personal, practical, and holistic, because there’s no single exercise program, diet, or solution that’s right for everyone.

Our goal isn’t to simply get you in better shape, but to help you live your life on your terms.  We do this by emphasizing a holistic approach and coaching the “4 Doctors”.

THE 4 DOCTORS

Four Essential Elements for Living a Healthy Life

Our holistic philosophy is guided by a simple framework developed by Holistic Health Practitioner Paul Chek, known as The 4 Doctors: Dr. Movement, Dr. Diet, Dr. Quiet, and Dr. Happiness.

DR. MOVEMENT

Your body was designed to move.  Yet modern life has many of us spending too much time sitting – at a desk, in a car, or on the couch.  Over time, too little movement can contribute to weight gain, aches and pains, and loss of strength and mobility.

Strength, cardiovascular fitness, mobility, balance, and everyday activity help you stay capable and independent as you age.  But we don’t default to the idea that you need to push harder or do more.  We focus on fundamental human movements – squat, lunge, bend, push, pull, twist, and gait – that prepare your body for the movements you perform in everyday life.

The real purpose of exercise isn’t what you can do in the gym, but what your fitness allows you to do outside of it.

DR. DIET

Food should support your health, not control your life.

We emphasize realistic, sustainable nutrition, rather than restrictive diets or one-size-fits all rules.  Our goal is to help you better understand food and your body’s individual needs, so you can make choices that support your energy, body composition, recovery, and long-term health while still enjoying your life.

The best way of eating isn’t the one you can follow for 30 days.  It’s the one that supports the life you want to live.

DR. QUIET

It’s important to work-out, but it’s just as important to know when to “work-in”.

Sleep, recovery, relaxation, breathwork, massage, sauna, and simply creating space to slow down, can be just as important to your health as exercise.

Your body and mind need stress and challenges to grow stronger and build capacity for life.  However, they also need ample opportunity to rest, recover, and restore.

DR. HAPPINESS

What’s the point of being healthy if you aren’t enjoying your life?

Relationships, purpose, play, connection, and doing the things that bring you fulfillment, are important parts of health too.

Ultimately, we’re not pursuing health simply for the sake of being healthy.  We’re pursuing health because of the life it allows us to live.

BUILT FOR LIFE AFTER 40

Your Best Years Don’t Have to be Behind You

Aging doesn’t mean giving up the things you love to do and how you want to feel.

However, what worked at 25 may not be what your body needs at 45, 55 or 65+.  Recovery can take more time.  New aches and pains can appear, and old injuries can resurface.  Maintaining muscle, mobility, and a healthy weight becomes increasingly important.  Work, family, and other responsibilities can make taking care of yourself increasingly challenging.

That’s why we don’t believe in simply telling you to work out harder or eat less.

We want to understand where you are now, where you want to go, and what may be standing in the way.

Whether that means getting stronger, losing weight, moving with fewer aches and pains, having more energy, or staying capable of doing the things you love, we help you find an approach that works for your body and your life.

“My coach helps me to achieve my many and varied goals including better golf performance, better posture, great nutrition in the form of consuming high quality organic foods that are metabolically correct for my body, and helping me to improve the energy in my life as a whole so that I can have more vitality in my roles as a wife and a mom.”

ONE PLACE. A MORE COMPLETE APPROACH.

Your Health Doesn’t Fit Neatly into One Box

Taking care of the whole you often requires more than one kind of support.

Personal training can improve strength and movement.  Massage and bodywork can support recovery.  Yoga and breathwork can help with mobility and slow you down.  Lifestyle, nutrition, and life coaching can help address the habits and other factors outside the gym that influence your health.

You may not need all those things, but when you need additional support, it’s here.

Because our team shares a common philosophy, these aren’t simply unrelated services offered in the same building.  They’re different ways of helping you take better care of the whole you.

OUR TEAM

Different Expertise. One Shared Philosophy.

Our team brings together professionals with expertise in personal training, massage therapy and MPS therapy, holistic lifestyle & nutrition coaching, life coaching, yoga, breathwork, mobility and other areas of health and wellness.

That range of expertise matters because no two people – and no two paths to better health – are exactly alike.  We bring different backgrounds and specialties to Clairevista, but share the same fundamental belief:

Listen first.  Understand the person.  Then provide guidance, support, and tools that are right for them.

“Thanks to Chris’s coaching, I feel better today than I did 20 years ago. Working out has helped me both physically and mentally. I have more energy and confidence in my work and personal life.  I do this for myself, but I must say, it also feels good as others notice the positive changes”

“I have been working with Denise for a year now, and it has completely transformed the way I understand my body and my yoga practice. What I appreciate most is that she does not teach in a one-size-fits-all way. She has taken the time to really study my posture, my patterns, and what my body actually needs, which turns out to be very different from what most people focus on in a regular yoga class. Beyond her technical knowledge, Denise is deeply thoughtful and genuinely caring. I feel seen in her classes. I feel guided. I feel respected.”

TIFFANY BEIERSCHMITT

Holistic Personal Trainer & Life Coach

Tiffany combines personal training, integrative health coaching, and life coaching to help clients improve more than just their fitness.  Certified through the CHEK Institute and with a background in functional dentistry, she brings a holistic perspective to understanding the many factors that influence how someone feels, functions, and lives.

Her approach considers movement and physical health alongside lifestyle, mindset, relationships, and the everyday habits that can either support or stand in the way of feeling your best.

Tiffany’s passion is helping people tap into their natural energy and potential so they can thrive – not only in the gym, but in their relationships, careers, families, and communities.

“When I met with Tiffany I felt connection immediately.  She was down to earth, honest, and met me where I was physically.  I signed up to train with Tiffany once a week and started to notice change after a few sessions.  Tiffany guided me not only on weight training, but also nutrition, and she pushed me to ask myself the tough questions about why I wanted to change in the first place.  Tiffany has been vital in teaching me how to move again without judgement of where I began.”
